The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) declared holidays for the year 2024 for Central Government offices recently. The same pattern of holidays is being followed by the LIC Offices in India. The IRDA co issued a new holiday list for the year 2024 for its employees. The detailed notification is reproduced and given below for your information. The Head Quarter of Life Insurance Corporation decided all Saturdays as a closed holiday for all LIC offices located across India under the Negotiable Instruments Act, of 1881.

LIC Office Timings and Working Hours 2024
The working hours of all offices of the Life Insurance Corporation of India have been revised effective from May 10, 2021, as per Notification S.O.1630(E) dated April 15, 2021. The Central Government has designated every Saturday as a public holiday for the corporation. Please note that all LIC offices are closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and on notified holidays.
