TN Pay Matrix Table for Govt Employees

After the implementation of the 7th Central Pay Commission reports to Central Government employees and pensioners, the Tamil Nadu State Government also implement the same pattern revised pay structure to its employees!

It is a matrix specified in Part A of the Schedule, with levels of pay arranged in vertical cells as assigned to corresponding existing Pay Band and Grade Pay or scale. The Pay Matrix is designed to provide a clear and transparent system for determining the salaries of government employees, based on their level of experience, qualifications, and job responsibilities.

In the TN Pay Matrix Table, the term “Level” refers to the level corresponding to an employee’s pay scale.
