KVS No.1 Arakkonam Admission Reservation
Admission Reservation in KVS Class-1: Complying with the regulations stated in the RTE Act 2009, it is imperative to account for reservations for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, and Differently Abled students during the admission process. The following proportions of seats must be set aside:
– Scheduled Caste (SC): 15% of seats
– Scheduled Tribe (ST): 7.5% of seats
– Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL): 27% of seats
These reservation percentages are applicable to all new admissions in all Kendriya Vidyalayas.
Furthermore, an additional reservation of 3% of the total available seats needs to be allotted for differently abled children. It is crucial to note that the reservation guidelines must be adhered to while considering the approved class capacity, which should not exceed 40 students per section.
Concretely, the reservation allocations for each category are as follows:
– RTE (25%): 10 seats
– SC (15%): 6 seats
– ST (7.5%): 3 seats
– OBC (27%): 11 seats
Moreover, it is essential to allocate 3% of the seats horizontally for applicants with disabilities.
KVS No.1 Arakkonam Registration Process
The Kendriya Vidyalaya registration process for admission is as follows: The Principal will provide registration forms free of charge. However, for Class I, registration will be conducted online through the Online Admission Portal once it becomes active. Each shift of Kendriya Vidyalaya will be treated as a separate Vidyalaya for admission purposes.
To ensure a smooth and efficient application process, please have the following information ready: a valid Indian SIM card mobile number, a valid email address, a digital photograph or scanned photograph of the child seeking admission (in JPEG format and not exceeding 256KB in size), a scanned copy (in JPEG or PDF format and not exceeding 256KB in size) of the child’s birth certificate, details of any government certificate if applying under the economically weak section, and transfer details of the parent or grandparent whose service credentials will be used in the application.
There are two essential steps to successfully submit an application form. First, you need to register on the portal. Upon successful registration, you will be assigned a unique Login Code, which should be carefully noted down. The second step is to fill out and submit the application form. You must use the Login Code obtained during registration to log in and complete the online application form. In a single form, you can indicate up to three (3) different Vidyalayas in India without any preference among them. Once you have filled out the application form, click on the Submit Application button to submit it. Upon successful submission, you will receive a unique Application Submission Code, which is different from the Login Code. Additionally, you will be provided with a list of original documents that need to be submitted to the Vidyalaya if provisional admission is offered. Please make sure to carefully note down your Application Submission Code and the list of required documents for admission.
