DA Arrears Calculator January 2023

DA Arrears Online Calculator for Central Govt Employees

Central government employees benefit from a bi-annual pay increase of a specific percentage, which is approved by the Union Cabinet and takes effect in January and July. This increase is based on changes in essential commodities and services across India. The announcement of DA occurs in March and September, with arrears being calculated for two months and paid with salaries in those months.

DA Arrears Online Calculator

The DA Arrears Online Calculator is a tool that considers the usual practice of backdating the announcement of DA hikes. Although the latest announcement for DA was made in March 2023, the effective date for this increase is from January 2023. As a result, existing and retired employees of the Central Government will typically receive a two-month arrear payment. To quickly and easily calculate these arrears and increased DA based on your basic salary, use our free and user-friendly tool, the DA Arrears Online Calculator.

How to use DA Tool?

Learn How to Use the DA Tool Effectively: To calculate your Dearness Allowance, simply input your assumed AICPIN (IW 2016=100) from January to June 2023 in the designated white boxes. The tool will then display an estimate of the approximate percentage of Dearness Allowance for the relevant month in the appropriate column. It is worth noting that the estimation of Dearness Allowance will be finalized by ignoring the decimal of the last month, June. Master the DA Tool by following these simple steps.

Calculate Your DA Arrears

Central government employees receive a monthly salary increase every 6 months through two factors – the amount of DA and Transport Allowance. The rate of Transport Allowance is determined by your entitlement, plus the same percentage as your DA. Our tool will calculate the separate increases for both DA and TA based on your entitlement.

DA Arrears Online Calculator Pensioners

The online calculator is designed to help pensioners determine their DA arrears. It’s important to note that dearness allowance and relief are similar, but the former is for current government employees while the latter is for retired employees. The calculator computes DR arrears in the same manner as DA arrears, with the exception of transport allowance which is not applicable to pensioners. With this free online tool, you can easily calculate your arrears for two months and the increased DR amount according to your basic pension.

DR Arrears Online Calculation App

An online calculation application for DA arrears will soon be available for central government employees, pensioners, and family pensioners. This comes following the approval by the Union Cabinet to increase Dearness Allowance by an additional 4% with effect from January 2023. The enhanced DA amount will be paid in the salary bill for March 2023, with arrears for the two previous months being paid separately in April 2023. The same process will be followed for pensioners and family pensioners, with the enhanced DR amount being included in their March pension, and DR arrears for two months issued separately in April.
