केवीएस प्रवेश 7 मार्च 2025 को शुरू होगा
KVS Admission Started on 7 Mar 2025: This letter informs you that, in accordance with past years, the online portal will open for registration for Class I admission on March 7, 2025, at 10:00 AM for the Academic Session 2025–26. The deadline for enrollment is March 21, 2025, at 10:00 PM. In keeping with the admission schedule for 2025–2026, registration for admissions to Class II and higher will be done offline, pending the availability of vacancies. To guarantee a seamless and effective admissions process, the following points should be taken into consideration.
- KVS Admission Guidelines & Schedule 2025-26: This covering letter is being delivered along with the KVS Admission Guidelines and Admission Schedule 2025–2026. Every class from Balvatika to XII must have 40 students per section.
- Advertisement by Regional Office:Enclosed is the draft advertisement in Hindi and English that the regional office will submit to newspapers and websites for widespread exposure. It should be promptly and urgently publicized in newspapers, particularly those in the local tongue.
- Admission to Newly opened KVs: Up to February 2025, all recently opened Kendriya Vidyalayas will only accept applications for other classes offline. Class I admissions will be handled online via the OLA Portal. Since full strength 40 must be admitted, they will not be bound by the admissions schedule for Class II onwards (offline) as stated in Admission Schedule 2025-26.
- Admission to Class II onwards: Before registration opens, the principal of the relevant Kendriya Vidyalayas must post any openings, if any, from Class II onwards on the Vidyalaya websites, social media accounts (Facebook, X (previously Twitter), and Notice Board for the benefit of all parties involved. The Region’s Deputy Commissioner is responsible for personally making sure that the same is shown.
- Verification of documents at the time of Admission: The region’s Kendriya Vidyalaya principals are instructed to carefully examine the documents at the Vidyalaya level, including the caste certificate, certificate of disability in the case of CwSN, address proof, parent’s service certificate to establish priority category, and certificate of date of birth as proof of age. This office was forced to terminate the admission of certain kids in KVs and take administrative action against the principals who were in default due to the submission of fraudulent documents and entry age. Therefore, before admitting the students, the admission committee and principal of each KV may be instructed to thoroughly check the documentation. If discovered later, lapses could cause complications and must be taken seriously.
- KVs with Balvatika Classes: KVs where Balvatika classes have started:
In Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) where Balvatika-1, 2, and 3 are operational, admissions for Balvatika-1 will be conducted through an online platform. Likewise, in KVs where only Balvatika-3 is available, admissions will also take place online for Balvatika-3. Students transitioning from Balvatika-3 will be automatically promoted to Class I. In these KVs, one section of Class I will be excluded from the online admission process. Should vacancies occur in the section with students promoted from Balvatika-3, candidates from the relevant waitlists, determined by the online draw of lots for the remaining sections, will be admitted according to their priority category. In KVs that have only one section, online applications for Class I admission will not be accepted. If vacancies arise, admissions will be processed offline in accordance with the schedule designated for Class II and higher. In KVs where Balvatika-1, 2, and 3 are operational, all regulations regarding Class I admissions will apply to Balvatika-1. For Balvatika-2 and 3, the regulations for admissions from Class II onwards will be in effect. Fresh admissions in these classes will only be permitted if the class size is below 40. In KVs where only Balvatika-3 is operational, all regulations pertaining to Class I admissions in KVs will be applicable to Balvatika-3. - Other important points: Several additional considerations should be taken into account when addressing admission cases, which can be summarized as follows:
- Cases classified under priority categories I to IV in Civil/Defence KVs and categories I to V in Project/IHL KVs, where parents seek admission for their children in the KVs at the location where they plan to reside after retirement, will be processed in accordance with paragraph 7(A)(i) of PART A of the KVS Admission Guidelines.
- Requests for transferring to a different KV within the same academic year of admission will not be considered initially, except in circumstances where a government employee has been transferred or has moved to government housing following the child’s admission.
- Regular classes for Balvatika and Class 1 are scheduled to begin on 01.04.2025. Additional information regarding Online Admissions and other relevant details will be communicated separately. This notice is issued with the approval of the Competent Authority.
