7th CPC Dearness Allowance Rates for Maharashtra Govt Employees
34% DA to Maharashtra State Govt Employees from July 2022
As per the Cabinet Meeting decision, 3% Dearness Allowance hiked to State Government employees with effect from 1st July 2022. Accordingly, the dearness allowance of Maharashtra government employees will now be increased from 31 to 34 percent of the basic pay. The hike in inflation-linked allowance will result in an increase in salary for government employees.

The Maharashtra State Government has increased the rate of Dearness Allowance by 3% for its employees with effect from 1.1.2022. Immediately reflecting the action followed by the Central Government, the Maharashtra Government has also enhanced the DA rate by 3 percent from the existing rate.
More than 16 lakh employees are benefiting from the announcement of the DA hike! Now the total Dearness Allowance is 31% (28% + 3% = 31%) from 1st January 2022.
