MK Stalin, Tamil Nadu’s chief minister, has announced a 4% Dearness Allowance (DA) increase for all state employees, including teachers, beginning January 1, 2023. With this action, the state administration made a wise decision because it will provide much-needed financial relief to the state’s teachers and employees.
The announcement by the Chief Minister of an additional 4% DA increase will benefit teachers and government employees in Tamil Nadu. the 4% increase in DA that will go into effect on January 1, 2023. They will be able to cover their daily expenses as a result of the increase in DA, and they will also have some extra money to save for the future. As a result of being able to pay its employees and teachers more, the state government’s financial burden will be reduced.
It’s a good thing that Dearness Allowance has just increased by 4% for teachers, retirees, and family pensioners in Tamil Nadu. The overall DA now stands at 38%. The basic wage or basic pension will be used to determine the amount of DA/DR.
